St. Benedict School provides an excellent Catholic education rooted in the Gospel message of peace, acceptance, understanding and service to others for all children in our community.

Vision

St. Benedict School strives to expand the mission of the Catholic parishes of our community and to serve the needs of an evolving society by instilling a spirit of Catholicity and providing an innovative, superior academic program that meets the needs of all children in a financially fit school that is affordable and accessible to all families who desire it.

St. Benedict Catholic School provides an innovative academic curriculum and creates a culture for learning through the use of STEM based teaching and learning strategies which promote collaboration, subject integration, authentic problem solving experiences through community partnerships, and integration of technology in the classroom to prepare students for higher education and future career goals.



What's new at SBCS during the 2023-2024 school year?

The enhancements that St. Benedict Catholic School has provided for its’ school community this year is significant!  The school has been established for twelve years and continues to impress the community with its growth yearly.  Whether it is through academic success or school improvements, there is always something happening at St. Benedict Catholic school that is noteworthy! 

This year we have remodeled and enhanced our school library!  We were inspired by our students’ love for reading and designed a space that allows them to read comfortably with vibrant colored over-stuffed chairs and reading cubbies.  We even added long tables with fun multi-colored chairs to encourage project collaboration and group reading.  Our students are raving about the new library!

We relocated the STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math) room to a large open classroom that allows for top-of-the-line school technology to fill every corner.  The high-top lab tables are filled with storage and provide a large space for the students to work on projects.  We are very proud of our STREAM coordinator and the teachers for their continued efforts to use a multi-discipline approach to teaching sparking problem solving, creativity, innovation and more!  Students love this new space and all the endless learning opportunities it offers!

Our students’ safety is our top priority and because of this we have invested significant funds to improving security in multiple ways.  We added more security cameras and enhanced the system.  We added keyless entry that supplies top level safety and security for our school.  We have also added cement bollards around the back entrance of the school to provide a safer space for our students during arrival, recess, and dismissal.
